About Ozongwindi Lodge
Ozongwindi Lodge ("fruit of the Shepherd tree" in Herero) is a new lodge comprising 10 double free-standing thatched roof bungalows each with separate deck situated on the banks of the Khan River, bungalows are extremely luxurious which include Namibian granite bathroom vanity tops and free-standing Victoria Albert baths.
All bungalows are air-conditioned / heated / mini bar / coffee station / vanity safes, a number of bungalows are fitted with sleeper couches which bungalows can accommodate 3 persons.
The main complex comprises a lounge, dining room, lounge deck, dining deck, library with DSTV, Wi-Fi, and curio shop, the waterhole can be veiwed from all decks and is illuminated at night..
The swimming pool with wooden deck and pool recliners is attached to the main complex and offers extreme privacy for guests, a change room with facilities is also provided.
Game / Scenic drives are offered on a daily basis and guests are free to take walks along the dry river bed of the Khan River, a distance of +- 5 km, where game species indigenous to the area can be seen.
Over 250 bird species have been identified and is a bird watchers paradise !

Bungalows
All of the bungalows ( 10 ) are of the same standard and ameneties comprising entrance porch, lounge / bedroom, separate bathroom with bath and shower, vanity tops and shower claddings are of Namibian granite.
Each bungalow boasts it's own private deck for veiwing game and bird life or just to relax.
Two of the bungalows are furnished with sleeper couches which bungalow then can accommodate up to Three persons, there is a choice between Twin or Double beds.
Ameneties include airconitioning, heating, a vanity safe, well stocked mini-bar and a coffee station, a hairdryer and electrical socket is provided in the bathrooms.
