Saudade

Saudade is a six-bedroom villa situated on the mainland at Vilanculos, overlooking the Bazaruto Archipelago. Named after the Portuguese word for nostalgic longing, this private retreat boasts thoughtfully designed spaces that blend contemporary comfort with local artistry.
The villa offers six suites of varying sizes and configurations. The premier Honeymoon Suite features a king bed and internal lounge with archipelago views. The Fern and Frangipani suites also have king beds and private lounging areas, whilst the Orchid suite includes a private courtyard with outdoor shower. The Marula suite, with its secluded external access, captures magnificent morning light and sea views. The Family Suite is particularly versatile, accommodating families with teenagers or converting into a bunk room for up to six younger children when the villa is booked exclusively.
All suites include air conditioning, ceiling fans, oversized mosquito nets, percale cotton linen, and en-suite bathrooms with quality amenities.
The villa's sun-drenched verandah and spacious interior lounge provide comfortable spaces for relaxation, whether retreating from the evening breeze or taking in the panoramic ocean vistas. Meals are prepared by skilled chefs who showcase fresh seafood sourced from nearby waters alongside international cuisine, served alfresco on the verandah, in the garden, or indoors.
