Boraha Village

Boraha Village is a French owned hotel on the east of the island, set in front of a wonderful lagoon protected by a coral reef. The hotel has twelve comfortable sea-facing en suite bungalows that are cooled year round by the sea breezes. Although there is no beach there is a lovely jetty from where guests can swim and make use of the many water sports available. The deep-sea fishing is good, while trips to explore the local mangroves and 4x4 excursions to see the local area are popular.

The hotel has a lovely history; starting as a restaurant and then slowly, over time, building rooms. Today, the owners prefer the property be considered a restaurant with rooms rather than a lodge with a restaurant. Food is taken seriously here and if one is not staying, it is well worth a visit for lunch.
