About Reteti House

Tucked away in the remote Namunyak Wildlife Conservancy amid the picturesque Matthews Range in northern Kenya, Reteti House is an exclusive-use eco-lodge located a 10-minute walk from Reteti Elephant Sanctuary. It features four beautiful, standalone rooms plus 2 family units - one with a shared living area and 1 with an open plan - and 2 guide rooms that can together accommodate up to 16 guests (ask if more). Each features a gorgeous outdoor shower (open plan family unit has indoor shower), private deck and uninterrupted views over the conservancy. Communal areas include a spectacular central lounge with Wi-Fi, and an infinity pool overlooking the elephant waterhole. In addition to exclusive visits to Reteti Elephant Sanctuary, guests can enjoy unrestricted game drives exploring the 850,000 acres of pristine wildlife, guided safari walks and hikes, and a visit to Elephant Rock, a mere 10-minute drive away.

Four beautifully appointed standalone suites featuring spacious outdoor showers and private terraces with uninterrupted views. Reteti House has capacity to host up to 16 guests at the exclusive use Reteti House. Here’s the layout: • Four standalone rooms • Open-plan family room: Includes a double bed + two singles • Family suite: Two rooms connected by a shared verandah and living space (similar to Sarara House) • Two guide rooms for accompanying guides or pilots (styled in the same fashion as the standalone rooms)
Open Plan Family Unit
The open plan family units features a shared living area, indoor shower, private deck and uninterrupted views over the conservancy.  With this new addition, we have increased our capacity to host up to 16 guests at the exclusive use Reteti House.
