About River Edge Lodge - Talek Masai Mara
River Edge Lodge is a five-room accommodation located along the verdant banks of the Talek River, just 3 km from the Talek Gate and 2 km from the Mpuai Barrier. It provides guests with an alternative access point to the reserve, improving opportunities for wildlife viewing. The closest airstrip is Olkiombo, roughly a 30-minute safari drive from the lodge. Another option is the Musiara airstrip, about a 40-minute transfer away. For those arriving by road, enter the reserve through the Sekanani Gate, drive through, exit at the Talek Gate, and then proceed to the lodge.

ROOMS
Well-lit en-suite room, Unobstructed views of the River, hippo pool, forest from every corner of the room. Natural stone floors and glass doors that open up for an indoor-outdoor feel. Sheltered private veranda with a view of the hippo pool.
AMENITIES: Purified water in the rooms for brushing and is also good for consumption.
Wi-Fi is available in all rooms and a hand-held radio is also provided for communication with the manager if needed. We provide Kikois, exercise mats & a pair of binoculars in each room for use while you are staying with us.
FAMILY ROOM
Unobstructed views of the river, hippo pool, and forest from every corner of the spacious rooms. A 2-interconnecting family unit, each room consists of a Queen or twin- bed. This room can accommodate up to four adults sharing, or a maximum of 6 for families.
The rooms have natural stone floors, hot showers, and lockable glass doors. Each room has a private veranda overlooking a hippo pool on the Talek River. The side doors open up for an in-door outdoor feel.
