Perched on the northern edge of Kenya’s iconic Maasai Mara Reserve, this exclusive use six-suite residence redefines the safari experience. Designed to slow time, inviting not just a stay, but a pause. A breath. A sanctuary in the wild. Here, the rhythm is set not by schedules, but by sunrise, lion calls, and the laughter of those you love.
Inspired by the Japanese philosophy of wabi-sabi, Zamara Private embraces natural textures, calming earth tones, and a grounding connection to nature. The design throughout this private safari camp invites stillness — from the well-appointed main area, open-air rooftop terrace, and cosy media room.
Zamara Private is a serene safari retreat set near the border of Kenya’s wildlife-rich Maasai Mara National Reserve, offering direct access to one of Africa’s most iconic and abundant wildlife areas.
Its intimate setting makes it an ideal base for a classic, immersive safari experience.
Guests enjoy private daily safari drives in open safari drive vehicles, led by expert guides, with the flexibility to spend an early morning, late afternoon or even a full day exploring the Reserve.

Master Suites and Guest Suites
The villa accommodates up to 12 guests exclusively and includes:
4 Stand-Alone Guest Suites — with flexible configurations for families.
2 Master Suites — ideal for couples or parents with children.
Each of the six suites is a private sanctuary, with natural grass planted roofs that blend into the landscape. Inside, thoughtful touches abound: overhead fans, air conditioning, a private outdoor deck, and the rare luxury of a shower beneath the stars.
The two master suites offers additional space and enhanced features. Each includes a separate living room, walk-in his-and hers wardrobes, a private 10m x 2m lap pool, double indoor and outdoor showers, his-and-hers WCs, and an indoor bath. Adjacent to each Master Suite is a smaller bedroom with a single bed and en-suite bathroom, suitable for a guest’s personal assistant. This anteroom has its own entrance and no direct access to the main suite.
