Sentinel Mara Camp is an owner run luxury tented camp tucked away in a forest along the banks of the Mara River within the Masai Mara National Reserve. Guests enjoy an authentically close to nature experience combined with appropriate luxury.
This classic camp with 8 river facing and 1 forest facing well spaced tents together with the three lounges and dining tent along the river in the forest offering excellent privacy. Specially designed campaign furniture adorns the camp creating the atmosphere of the traditional East African and affords a significant measure of luxury.
Cuisine is always in keeping with Sentinel’s very high standards of hospitality. The all-inclusive rate means you can simply relax and enjoy all that is on offer in terms of snacks, drinks, guided nature walks, game drives, starlit dinners and champagne bush breakfasts during your stay.
The excellent standard of guiding will have guests gripped and entertained whether on a game drive or a 1 hour walk near the camp. Our bespoke approach ensures the daily agenda of each group of visitors is tailor-made and flexible taking their personal preferences into account

Forest Facing Tents
Sentinel Mara Camp is an exclusive tented eco-camp set privately within a forest along the banks of the Mara River, offering guests an intimate and authentic safari experience surrounded by nature. Each spacious tent is thoughtfully appointed with handcrafted mahogany campaign furniture and a canvas wardrobe, creating a classic safari ambience while ensuring comfort. The tents feature fine bed linen, hot showers, porcelain flush toilets, and convenient charging stations for electrical equipment. A private verandah with comfortable outdoor furniture allows guests to relax and take in the tranquil surroundings. For added convenience, a laundry service is also available, ensuring a seamless and comfortable stay in the heart of the Mara.
River View Tents
Sentinel Mara Camp has 8 sleeper tents facing the Mara River and 1 sleeper tent facing the forest.
The well spaced guest tents in the riverine forest ensure privacy and afford the opportunity of watching the hippo and crocodile in the river below.
Each large tent has en suite shower, dressing room and toilet. The mahogany and brass campaign furniture captures the romance of traditional East African safari life.
