About Roca River Camp
Roca River Camp is a luxury, tented camp in the world-famous Maasai Mara. An owner-run and owner-hosted lodge, giving guests an unrestricted, classic, and romantic experience of the wild. Our 10 luxury tents are set up to give you that wonderful classic safari living that we feel all guests to Africa should experience. Ross and Caro and the team will host and guide you in this private wilderness and make sure you take away exceptional and long-lasting memories from this exquisite piece of Africa.
The camp is found on the banks of the Mara River, beneath the shade of a riverine forest. Being within the National Reserve, guests have unlimited access to the wilderness, while being close enough to have the option to visit the Mara Triangle too.
Experience a private camp with all the comforts of home – spacious bedroom tents, en-suite bathrooms with hot showers, three-course delicious meals and beautiful décor. The Mara Camp perfectly combines comfort and charm and is furnished with all the ‘necessary luxuries’ such as white linen, woven carpets and hand-made furniture. The Mara Camp offers the ultimate experience of the original safari.

Roca River Camp
Our Luxury Tents are all ensuite, with all of the comforts you would expect from a luxury safari. With a total of 10 tents, guests are able to experience an intimate luxury safari. We have 5 tents overlooking the stunning Mara River, and another 5 tents looking out over the majestic Mara Plains. Rooms can be set up as doubles, twin beds or triples.
Family Room
The Family Room is a single unit made up of two en suite rooms separated by a shared living space. It is the room closest to the main camp areas, and is ideal for families with smaller children who would prefer to be closer, or for a group of close friends. The family tent is one of the river facing rooms with amazing views of the Mara River, and tucked away in our gorgeous riverine forest.
