About Kilima Camp

Kilima Camp is an intimate and luxurious eco-lodge with 12 classic tents and 3 Deluxe tents. All tents at Kilima Camp benefit from a fabulous view over the Masai Mara plains and Mara river. The understated elegance and luxury of each safari tent provides guests with a comfortable and relaxing environment in which to unwind after an adventurous day on safari. From July to October, Kilima Camp is an ideal base to witness the Great Migration where more than one million wildebeests and zebras cross the Mara River, an event which happens nowhere else in Africa but in the Masai Mara.

We also offer other bush activities such as horse riding safari, guided nature walks, cultural masai village visit, sundowners and bow lessons, massages and spa treatments, school visit ... and hot balloon as well as helicopter safaris

Accommodation Options

Deluxe tent
Our 3 Deluxe tents are even more comfortable and bigger than our Classic tents. They can sleep up to 5 persons (3 adults and 2 children). They is a large wooden deck from which our guests can relax and admire our amazing view. The bathrooms are fitted with flush toilets, running hot and cold water and running hot shower. Total size of our Deluxe is 77 to 88m². The understated elegance and luxury of each safari tent provides guests with a comfortable and relaxing environment in which to unwind after an adventurous day on safari. Tips*** Our Deluxe tents are perfect for honeymooners and family. 2 of our deluxe tents can accommodate family of 4 and one of our deluxe tent is idea for a couple (we called it our honeymoon tent). Furthermore they are located far away from the Main Buildings and restaurants and you may witness resident zebras and giraffes from the wooden deck !!!
Classic Tent
The Classic Safari Tents are spacious and can accommodate a maximum of 3 guests (2 adults and one child aged up to 16 years or three 3 Adults) comfortably. The Classic Safari Tents have wooden floors, running hot showers, more light in the bathroom with is concreted with Galana Stones, with awesome views from the veranda overlooking the Mara River and Mara plains. Tips ***: Two of our Classic tents are adjacent and share the same path way. They are ideal for families with children in their own tent.

At Kilima Camp we believe in the importance of healthy and tasty meals. Our chef use fresh vegetable from our Bio Garden and prime quality ingredients that are found in Kenya, especially fish and vegetables. We easily accommodate vegetarians, vegans, gluten-free and guests who have special requests (Kosher, Halal...). Food can be tailored to suit children’s and baby's requirements and earlier meal times can be arranged where necessary. We also prepare bush breakfast and packed fresh pic nic for these who want to make the most of their game drive in the Mara Triangle. In the evening, by the fireplace, outside by our outdoor boma or in our lounge bar, you can start to relax after a long exciting day in the bush with fine wine from our cellar or cocktails with nice bar bits. After the diner, you can also chill out and enjoy the beautiful Africa sky and the Milky way...
