About Enasoit Camp
Enasoit Camp is a luxury private tented camp nestled in the foothills of Mount Kenya, with over 4000 acres of pure wilderness to explore and experience exclusively.
Guests enjoy the camp as well as the wildlife reserve on a purely exclusive-use basis – an ideal retreat for families and groups of friends.
As a small and intimate camp, Enasoit has unique charm. It is relaxed and welcoming, yet luxurious and beautifully appointed.
An Enasoit safari offers remarkable wildlife encounters and an array of exciting ways to experience the wilderness. One of the most distinctive features of Enasoit Camp is the extraordinary wildlife activity at the waterhole, found just in front of the main Mess tent – the perfect viewpoint for game-viewing from the comfort of an armchair.

Luxury Tented Cottages
The 6 tented cottages and large family tent are situated around the waterhole, which attracts a busy array of wildlife, easily visible from the tent verandahs.
The tents are carefully constructed using canvas and local materials, combining the
romance of living ‘under canvas’ with the comfort of a permanent structure.
Each tent has an en-suite bathroom, wooden floors, a sitting area with a fireplace and private verandah.
Life in camp revolves around the open-sided Mess Tent, which overlooks the waterhole. By day, the Mess Tent offers a comfortable shaded spot from which to enjoy the wildlife and views across the plain. At night, a campfire is lit in front of the Mess Tent for pre-dinner drinks and sightings of Enasoit’s nocturnal wildlife.
Family Tented Cottage
The new Family Tented Cottage consists of two large, inter-leading en-suite bedrooms. There is a lounge and living space in the centre and a spacious deck/verandah out front that runs the length of the cottage, with beautiful views out onto the hills and wilderness.
Pool House
The Pool House is nestled beside one of Enasoit’s dramatic rock outcrops, and is a five minute drive or comfortable 20 minute walk from Camp. The Pool House is set within an aloe garden and is a great location for lunches and relaxed afternoons.
Within the Pool House gardens there are two thatched double cottages, which can be used as additional accommodation for larger groups.
