Garden Room
Located in the garden wing of the hotel, the 48 Garden Rooms are surrounded by lawns as well as palm trees and look down across the grounds to the sea. Decorated in cool sea blue and white, each spacious room has either two twin beds or a Queen bed. Double doors open onto either a private balcony or a terrace with direct access to the grounds.
Superior Room
The 35 Superior Rooms are designed in Swahili-style with traditional niches, fretwork cabinets and brightly coloured coastal cotton soft furnishings in either red, white and yellow or cool blue. The rooms have either king sized bed or 2 twin beds. The bathrooms include a bathtub and a separate shower and a twin sinks. Room size is 35.7 square metres.
Superior Sea View Room
Offering views of the Indian Ocean beyond the palm tree-filled gardens, the resort’s eight Superior Sea View Rooms are designed in Swahili style with traditional niches, fretwork cabinets and brightly coloured coastal cotton soft furnishings in either red, white and yellow or cool blue
Family Room
Each of the Family Rooms, two of which are sea view rooms, have a common entrance corridor leading to two separate rooms – one for the children and the other for parents. The children’s room has its own bathroom, twin beds, a digital multi-channel TV and a mini bar (that can be emptied upon request).
Accessed by a short corridor, the adult's room is appointed with a King bed and a twin bathroom that can accommodate two guests at once. The room also features a spacious balcony with access to the children's room.
Lamu Suite
The resort’s two Lamu Suites feature direct pool and ocean views, a master bedroom with a four-poster bed and a spacious living room.
Zanzibar Suite
Our 6 Zanzibar Suites feature garden views, spacious bedrooms with four-poster beds, separate sitting rooms and private terraces.
Luxury Suite
The resort’s 2 Luxury Suites - Shella and Tundwa, are duplexes located on the first floor of the garden wing. Guests enter through a patio that leads to a sitting room, which then opens up to the bedroom. The spacious bathroom features a bathtub and a massage shower. Plus, the patio has a guest bathroom and a staircase leading to a sitting room and a private sun terrace. The Suites have a garden view, with a private terrace consisting of two sun beds, umbrella and private shower.

Overlooking the fishpond with weaver birds nesting on the blooming bougainvillea and coconut palm trees, Sokoni pays homage to the traditional brasserie-style café. In addition to snacks and pizzas, the menu features authentic Swahili delights. In the evening, Sokoni transforms into a gathering spot for enjoying acrobatic performances or traditional dance acts.
Mkungu Beach Bar
