About Laragai House
Laragai House is a family home built on Borana Conservancy, a perfect escape for a group of friends or a multi-generational family who would like to stay in an exclusive use property. The house sleeps 16 guests who are warmly received by our team of highly experienced staff and personally hosted. Wildlife viewings are enjoyed from horseback, open cars, on foot with rangers, or from the house itself.
Laragai’s affiliation with the Borana and Lewa wildlife conservancies provides access to the results of many years of conservation and community development. Laragai also offer a great location to explore further a field to visit the peaks and lakes of Mt. Kenya or venture into the north by helicopter.

Lucilla's Wing
The Lucilla Wing is the newest, and most stunning, of all the rooms at Laragai House.
Built in 2018, the Wing is separate from the rest of the House, giving maximum privacy. The large double bed looks over huge glass windows and onto Ololokwe mountain. The cottage has its own private ensuite bathroom with bath and shower and also a private sundowner deck where occupants can relax and enjoy their room in total peace.
Valentine's Wing
A spacious room with uninterrupted views over northern Kenya. Valentine's room is complete with a king-size double bed, open fire place and an ensuite bathroom. Being so close to the main living room, it is a great room for older guests.
Adjacent to Valentine's room is Kibaka's room, a large double room with a ensuite bathroom and beautiful views into the gardens. This room is often used in connection to Valentine's room as a family unit.
George's Wing
The master room over looks the Laragai waterhole and endlessly beyond to the Mathew's Range. This premier king-size room is complete with a log fire and a large master bathroom. George's wing is connected to two smaller bedrooms that share a bathroom specifically designed to accommodate children and a nanny. The children’s rooms interconnect with the master room but also have their own access.
Ceder Room
A large double bedroom with an ensuite shower room and washroom. The room has a bath in the bedroom. The room is situated on the top sector of the house and is next to two twin rooms which make it an ideal family wing for a larger family.
Alexander's Room
A twin room on the top sector of the house and overlooks the open sided courtyard garden.
It has large glass windows and an adjoining bathroom with shower, bathtub, 2 washstands and w/c.
Tarquins Room
A twin room in the top wing of the house and adjoins the Ceder room( Double ) and Alexanders room ( Twin) . This room is ideal for teenagers and family members occupying this top wing. It has an ensuite bathroom with shower, washstand and w/c.
Daisy & Hubert Room
These 2 twin rooms are in the lower sector of the house adjoining the master suite ( George's Room ) also known at Lord Michaels room. These share a bathroom with shower, washstand and w/c.
Kabaka room
This very comfortable room has a kingsize bed and a stunning wood panelled bathroom with bathtub, shower, twin basins and w/c . It is in the lower sector of the house next to Valentines room and close by the drawing room.
