Tswii Okavango Lodge

Okavango Tswii Lodge is situated on the Boro River, at the gateway to the Okavango delta.

It is approximately 25km from Maun town centre & 15km from the Boro turn off.

The lodge is newly built but has a graceful old charm in its surroundings, with a modern twist in its interiors.

There are 4 standard chalets (sleeping max 2 people) and 2 Family units (2 adults & 2 children) all with en-suites, consisting of a WC, sink & rain shower. All chalets have their own decks, with four chalets offering river views, and the family chalets looking out over the flood plain.

Between each chalet there are raised wooden walkways, which give you a great view of the surrounding area.

The chalets are surrounded by beautiful indigenous trees offering privacy and dappled shade, perfect to enjoy a relaxing afternoon on the banks of the river.

As the lodge is only 25km out of town, you get the combination of a beautiful stay in the bush, but only a short commute from Maun & the airport. This makes it perfect for those wanting to overnight near Maun before heading on, and also for those wanting a base to explore the Okavango Delta from.

There are a number of tailor-made trips on offer ranging from a half-day mokoro trip with a short bush walk, up to 3 nights exploring the Okavango Delta on foot and by mokoro.

The lodge prides itself on being very flexible and would be happy to discuss a number of options with clients to suit their needs.

Meals are very flexible and can fit in around your activities. A normal day consists of early morning breakfast, brunch, high tea and dinner. These meals will be served in a variety of locations.

The lodge offers 2 different rates – Bed & Breakfast Rate and a Fully Catered Rate. If guests chose the B&B rate they can then request further meals and activities as an extra.

There is a traditional Boma, where guests can sit and relax after dinner, to tell stories of their day & listen to the sounds of the African Bush at night.
