Set along the banks of the mighty Limpopo River, Tuli Safari Lodge Mashatu is surrounded by rolling lawns, sandstone outcrops and ancient trees that give the lodge its tranquil, timeless character.
This 4-star lodge consists of eight luxury tented suites, blending classic safari charm with contemporary comfort. Suites are elevated and airy, with canvas drapes stretched over timber frames and wide wrap-around decks overlooking the gardens and surrounding bush. Inside, a modern interpretation of “Out of Africa” unfolds — an open-plan space with an island bed, lounge area, freestanding bath, spacious shower, double vanity, separate W.C., and thoughtful storage.
Guests can enjoy the lodge amenities in-between safari activities, including a swimming pool nestled between giant rocks, a romantic stargazing deck, a hide overlooking a waterhole and walking trails within the grounds.
Every stay offers moments of quiet connection and surprise — from bush brunches and private dinners set in hidden corners of the lodge. For deeper immersion, guests can join a cultural village tour or evening drive, discovering the region’s rich stories and warm local spirit.

Luxury Tented Suite
Eight luxury tented suites are spacious, airy and elevated. They present themselves as draped canvas walls and roofs over timber frames. Large wrap-around decks provide a relaxing outdoor space with views over the Tuli and surrounding bush. The interiors are a modern interpretation of the classic ‘out of Africa’ décor, with a flowing open plan design.
All suites feature an island bed, lounge area, freestanding bath, large separate shower, double basin vanity area, separate W.C. and ample storage space.
We can accommodate a third adult in the room or maximum 2 children.
