‘Footsteps Across the Linyanti’ has the look and feel of a mobile tented camping experience and yet is situated within a permanent site in the Linyanti Concession, and overlooking the Linyanti Marsh. Based solely on discovering the area on foot, the focus of this safari will be walking and the distance walked each day will be tailored to the capabilities of the group and what their particular interests are. Outings can include full days spent in the bush with picnic breakfasts and lunches, or smaller outings taken in the mornings and afternoons with stops at camp to rest and have meals.

Accommodation comprises of 3 spacious mini-meru style tents with comfortable beds and en-suite private bathroom facilities, which include flush toilets and al fresco bucket showers. A main dining and lounge area is set-up for the guests to relax when they arrive at camp and after dinners. The Linyanti area is best known for its large populations of Elephant and buffalo that congregate in vast numbers especially during the dry season. Other sightings include: Lion, sable, roan, leopard, wild dog, the rare and elusive sitatunga antelope, red lechwe, hippo and crocodile, as well as other plains game.

This is an adventure safari that will awaken you to the heart-beat of Africa. Close-up encounters on foot with elephant, buffalo and lion are not uncommon but our professional guides will ensure your safety whilst sharing their passion and knowledge of the African bush with you.
