About MmaTsebe Tented Camp
MmaTsebe is an owner-run camp set on 25 hectares of private land along the Mbudi River, a tributary of the Khwai. Bordering the Moremi Game Reserve, the camp enjoys a peaceful setting away from central Khwai’s high-season hustle, yet access to iconic wildlife areas, with game drives traversing both Moremi and the Khwai Concession. 30-minutes drive from Khwai Airstrip the camp offers a relaxed, character-rich setting with sweeping views.
An airy canvas-on-deck space with dining and lounging areas is at the camp's heart. A plunge pool offers a cool retreat on hot days, while the boma invites coffees or nightcaps around the fire. A separate Wi-Fi lounge allows guests to reconnect without compromising the feeling of immersion.
Nine Meru-style en-suite tents feature plush bedding, a canopy mosquito net and ceiling fan, double vanity bathroom with flush loo and hot shower. Plug points, a desk, seating, and a shaded deck with river views complete the accommodation.
Year-round activities include game drives and mokoro excursions as part of the all-inclusive rate. Sitatunga’s Edge – a boat trip from Xakanaxa aboard a double-decker pontoon is a highlight to elevate a guests' delta experience.

MmaTsebe Tented Camp
MmaTsebe Tented Camp is a tented bush camp with comfortable and generous proportions, bedrooms 6 x 4m & bathrooms 4 x 2m.
Room #4 is an accessible room that is closest to the main area and has a ramp, a lower sink, handrails in the bathroom.
Each room has:
- A double or twin bed (according to preference) with a mosquito net canopy.
- Roll away single beds are available and can be inserted to any of the tents to make up a triple for adults travelling with Children. Only one additional bed per tent may be added. Subject to availability.
- A ceiling fan
- Power points for charging devices, including USB ports (for C-Pap machine please request an extension cable)
- Luggage rack
- Desk & chair
- Veranda with coffee table and chairs
Each en-suite has:
- A hot shower
- Double sink & vanity with large mirror
- A flush loo
