Chiredzi

Situated in Zimbabwe’s Masvingo Province, the small town of Chiredzi lies in the southeastern corner of this incredibly beautiful country. It serves as the administrative hub for the eponymous region, as well as the gateway to the well-known Gonarezhou National Park - the second largest park in Zimbabwe - as well as the smaller, neighbouring Malilangwe Game Reserve. Visitors can use this town as a convenient stopover or as a base to explore the remarkably scenic surrounding area. Nature lovers will delight in the vast mopane and baobab-dotted landscapes inhabited by a variety of wildlife including leopard, lion, rhino, elephant, buck, buffalo, giraffe, zebra and many more.
