Three great Durban markets
Markets are big news world wide, from farmers'' and organic food-centric markets to creative crafts markets, they''re a great place to hang out with friends and family.
If you''re lucky enough to be in Durbs, head on to one of these 3 markets for fresh produce, delicious food, craft beer or early Christmas shopping.

The Morning Trade

Sundays 8am – 2pm : 8 Morrison Street

The Morning Trade is Durban''s source of farm fresh ingredients and artisan goods - situated in Rivertown, Durban''s new Arts and Culture precinct. Anna Savage (former-chef, restaurateur and founder of Durban''s award-winning ''I heart Market'') has combined her market running expertise with her passion for good food and honest ingredients to bring us The Morning Trade - a weekly market platform for local farmers, artisan producers and organic merchants to share their wares with Durban’s public.

Essenwood Craft Market

Saturdays 9am – 2pm : Essenwood Rd

Essenwood Craft Market, under a lush canopy of evergreen trees, is focused on the entire family.  The kiddies play area is conveniently situated right next to our Food Court enabling parents to keep a close eye on their children at play while they enjoy a meal or ''cuppa'' in a lively and sociable atmosphere complimented by the music of one of our many buskers.  If you keep a keen eye open, on some days you might even catch a glimpse of a celebrity or two.
