Swazi Candles Centre
Visiting Swaziland? You won’t want to miss a visit to The Swazi Candles Centre which is not, as you’d expect from its name, only a candle store. Mollie Roques from Sambane at the centre tells us more...

The Swazi Candles Centre offers visitors a wealth of wonderful arts, crafts and food – all conveniently located in one place.

  • Wander around the local craft market where you’ll find unique African craft laid out by various local artisans in an open air market.

  • Watch the famous Swazi Candles being hand-moulded before you

  • Try your hand at moulding your own and purchase the finished products in their shop

  • Also for sale you’ll find a great variety of other stock from hand woven grass mats to essential oils and 100% natural handmade soaps.

  • Purchase colourful hand woven fabrics and accessories from the Rosecraft shop, Batik art from the Baobab shop and hand beaded handbags, bed linen and accessories from the Amarasti shop. A fabulous place to relax, shop till you drop and see beautiful works of art.

  • Take a break from your shopping and relax in an oasis at the fully licensed, Sambane garden restaurant, renowned for their fresh and delicious fusion cuisine, speciality coffees and cakes. Sambane is fast becoming known as the best restaurant in Swaziland with a great playground to keep your kids well entertained.

  • A Photographic Gallery will be opening soon, to add to the list of great things to see and do.

This is one stop you don’t want to miss on your travels around the  Kingdom of Swaziland (Umbuso weSwatini).
