I had the pleasure of attending the opening of Sangisa Sangisa at a new gallery / space in the heart of Cape Town on Monday night.
VANSA’s Spin Space (VANSA = Visual Artist Network of South Africa) is located at 8 Spin Street, Cape Town CBD, one level above the street.

According their blog, Sangisa Sangisa was conceptualised in September 2008 in South Africa - the brainchild of two Congolese painters Philippe Kayumba and Many Libuta.
This group is “a forum for artistic and cultural exchanges and supports freedom of expression and thought.”
