“It was a scorcher of a day, but refreshing bubbly kept the heat at bay and set the tone for Portfolio’s high tea. The secluded courtyard of In Toto Gallery provided the ideal venue for our gathering, and the cakes and treats from Dolce Con Gusto were simply mouth-watering.

It was a wonderful morning spent with existing and new Portfolio members, a great way to connect away from the stress and demands of our normal working environment. And to be able to meet in person, network and put faces to names, is so important in an age where technology can sometimes take the ‘personal touch’ out of communication.

As a Jozi local, James Delaney did the honours of presenting the ‘new’ Portfolio Collection, covering aspects such as the launch of our accommodation iPad app and the developing of the app for iPhone, Android, Windows and Blackberry – due for launch in about mid-March. He also touched on the Travel Tips newsletter, sent to our database of 75 000. Together with increased activity on the blog and social media, we’re keeping the brand visible and relevant.
