The Old Mutual Encounters Concerts is excited to present the annual
Joburg Kid’s Day
at the Emmarentia Botanic Gardens, Johannesburg on Sunday, 1 August. The day will be filled with exciting entertainment, with an action-packed programme of fun and activities galore for the whole family.
Taking centre stage will be everyone’s favourite Beautiful Creatures, featuring fun and educational songs about African animals. Joined on stage will also be a live musical stage performance from Axene, who will perform an array of favourite children songs, such as Hannah Montana.
In addition, the line-up will include Kid Power, an International children’s singing and dancing troupe that performs songs, dances and costumes from around the world; Wizard Magician, and Giant Puppets.
Get swept up in the spectacle of splendour, with more entertainment from stilt walkers, balloon sculptors, arts and crafts activities, clowns, face painters, soccer goals, Snakes and Ladders, Twister and a Water Wheel. There will also be Adventure Island jumping castle and two other fun-themed jumping castles, small carousels, a train, swing ball and much more to see and do.
Engage the whole family in the excitement of the Old Mutual Encounters Joburg Kid’s Day which promises to be a truly extraordinary experience and treat for all ages. And remember the best thing about kid’s day is…it is free for all under the age of 12. Gates open at 12:30 noon and the activities last until 16:00 in the afternoon.
