As you open the gate you enter a magic world of trees and plants, stepping onto the stoep and through the front door into a vibrant dynamic of colour, painted doors, walls and hundreds of stunning paintings, drawings and prints. Every wall is covered with numerous works of art, window and door frames are painted and a highly decorated ceiling and surrounds was inspired by a visit to Ravenna.

Nicolaas paints mainly on board, there are small works, medium and large sized paintings and linocuts from cats, still life to landscapes.
