On 17 April 2012 the By Invitation Only Masters chef competition will final will take place at the University of Johannesburg once again.
This tough cooking competition, organised by Unilever Food Solutions, will see six of South Africa’s top chefs (listed on the poster below) competing to win a grand prize of R40 000.
Five of the chefs are selected for their reputations and contribution to the industry, and all have a minimum of five years’ experience. The sixth competitor achieves a place in the competition by virtue of having won the Senior category of the Unilever Food Solutions Chef of the Year in the previous year.
By Invitation Only has been running since 2004. It is a ''mystery basket'' culinary competition where the winner takes all.
