Last weekend we went for another outing which had been long on my to-do list. We finally made it to Mo and Rose at Soekershof, just 7 km from Robertson, to enjoy a lazy Sunday lunch.

The Cape Town winter weather was absolutely gorgeous. We were ''balming'' in the sunshine while tucking into hot and cold antipasti, Beef Fillet, Salmon Trout and of course I ALWAYS have to have desert. It simply is a magical place.

A mere 2 hour drive from Cape Town and you will find yourself walking slower, talking slower and just being slower in general. The gardens are a delight and Rosie could crawl around and stretch her little legs in the thick grass. Pure bliss!
