South Africa’s famous floral wonders have scooped another gold medal at the prestigious Chelsea Flower Show in London.
The South African National Biodiversity Institute’s (SANBI’s) 2011 display, titled Botanical Landscapes, featured two World Heritage sites – the Cape Floral Kingdom and the Richtersveld, both biodiversity hot spots.
The elated organisers said: ''Exhibiting for the 36th year, the hardworking team raced to put the finishing touches and add the unusual specimens to this year’s exhibit in time for the judging''.
Congratulations to a team of dedicated and talented people who have once again put on a fantastic exhibition showcasing South Africa floral kingdom.
