It''s a Boy!
Limp Bizkit arrives in South Africa! But it''s not quite what you might think! Before you get your earplugs out, read on...

Limp Bizkit at RiverBend Lodge. Baby elephant.Guests visiting the RiverBend Lodge in Addo Elephant National Park in the Eastern Cape could have the privilege of meeting the latest addition to the ''B-family'' –  their elephant herd thus named as each member’s name starts with the letter ‘B’ for research purposes. This herd, comprising nearly 90 elephants, lives right in RiverBend’s private concession of the Park.

The newbie is a calf with the name of Bizkit – aka Limp Bizkit (the name of an American metal band) due to the limp he has walked with since birth.  In early September Bizkit could not walk on his one front leg at all, but is now doing much better. Despite the limp he is able to keep in step with the bigger members of the herd.

Be sure to look out for this laatjie* next time you’re in Addo.
