Two weekends back the stadium was opened for the first ever public event and the 20 000 fans who attended the first dry run were largely delighted with the facilities (read my likes and dislikes after that event here).
Now it''s the Cape''s rugby fans'' turn to try out the Stadium for size - something that will not happen often as this sport will on the whole continue to be based at the Newlands Stadium.
As part of the Cape Town Tens event a match will be held between local Western Cape rivals the Stormers and Boland. This time, 40 000 tickets were made available. Let''s hope they have the sound system sorted.
