OPERATING TIMES
Currently, the first car goes up at 08:00, the last car goes up at 19:00 and the last car comes down at 20:00.
PARKING
Visitors are encouraged to use public transport to get to The Cableway.
There is now a FREE MyCiTi shuttle from the bottom of Tafelberg Road up to the Cableway station (Route 110). The Cableway is sponsoring the free MyCiTi shuttle, so no card is required for this leg (Route 110) of the MyCiTi journey!
If you do drive to The Cableway, please remember not to park on the red and yellow lines. This poses a hazard for evacuation in the case of a fire and vehicles parked here will be towed away.

TICKETS
In peak season there are two queues opposite the Lower Cable Station: one for non-ticket holders (who are queuing for the ticket office), and one for ticket holders.
Please note that all ticket holders, including tour groups, must join the queue for ticket holders, opposite the Lower Cable Station building.
Online tickets purchased for a specific date cannot be used beforehand.
In an attempt to eliminate long queues at the Upper Cable Station, a virtual queuing system will be trialled from 15 December 2015 to 15 January 2016. As visitors arrive at the Upper Cable Station they will be prompted to select a time for their return trip via a variety of kiosks. A ticket showing the time of their return trip is printed. They have the option of printing a return time ticket for individuals or for groups. Five minutes prior to the selected return time, they then join the queue at the Upper Cable Station.
