Houtstok Festival in the Swartland
We''ve all heard of that iconic 1960s hippie festival Woodstock. Now enjoy the whole peace, love and freedom vibe - in Afrikaans - at ''Houtstok 2012''.

 

This is a three day festival at Malmesbury Diep River Farm in the Swartland - that''s 35 hours of Afrikaans music  but you don''t have to speak ''Die Taal'' to enjoy the festivities. 

Top Afrikaans acts will be performing on a massive stage with media screens, while the food stalls will offer plenty to keep hunger at bay after all that jolling.
