Great news is that the organisers for this year''s Santa''s Shoebox Project tell us they are already half way to reaching their target - here''s what they said in a newsletter sent out this week:
Thank you to everyone who has been working so hard to help us reach our target.
We are half way, and have already done more than we did for the entire Project last year...but, we have to get to 70 000!
We are represented in all the provinces, please let your friends / colleagues know and ask them to check for the most convenient drop off in their province.
This is also a good time to let your child''s school know and get them involved.

PEP has expanded their sponsorship and many of you will hear a Christmas jingle about Santa Shoebox Project on Radio Jacaranda, Highveld and Heart Radio for the next two weeks. Remember, PEP is a one stop shop for all your box contents.
Your box needs to contain each and every one of the required items :
- tooth brush and toothpaste
- bar of soap and a wash cloth
- some sweets
- an outfit of clothing
- educational supplies
- a toy
If you are thinking of volunteering, please register through the website soonest, as the drop off volunteer teams are being organised.

I wish for a real Chrismas. Three food and nice things for my family on Chrismas. I know that I cannot give that to them.
