A reader spotted Halle Berry in Simons Town today and shared some pics with us!
Hollywood beauty and super star Halle Berry is in Cape Town, South Africa to film a new movie. Travel Blog reader and sometime contributor Uwe Auer was perfectly positioned to snap some photos of the petite actor today at Simons Town’s picturesque harbour – the cast and crew were right over the parking lot from his family’s art gallery.

The movie is a thriller called Dark Tide, in which 43 year old Berry plays a scuba diving instructor. Man (or perhaps woman?) eating sharks form part of the plot… and much of the filming will reportedly be done on the False Bay coast as opposed to the more glam Atlantic Seaboard.

According to a report on the Times Live website, Berry is staying in a “luxury villa in Cape Town”. Her two-year-old daughter, Nahla, and her ex-boyfriend, model Gabriel Aubry, are also along – Aubry is being paid by Berry to ‘nanny’ their child…

Uwe has promised to send us any more shots that he manages to get – a lot of his friends are hoping to see some of her in a bikini next… but it will more likely be a wetsuit…
