Forever young he may not be, but 63-year-old Scottish singing legend Rod Stewart’s famed voice, with its ‘black-coffee-with-the-grounds-left-in’ quality, has earned him an evergreen status and a massive fan base around the world.
It''s been 25 years since his last visit to these shores; now Rod “The Mod” Stewart is finally returning to South Africa for a national tour comprising three gigs.
Do ya (still) think he’s sexy? Does he still wear those leopard-skin tights? Book tickets for one of his December 2008 performances to see if Rod “The Bod” still has whatever it was that made women of all ages swoon in his younger years. Perhaps he will prove that Sean Connery isn’t the only Hot Scot over 60.*
The SA tour starts at Sahara Park Newlands Stadium in Cape Town on the 1 December, then moves on to the ABSA Stadium in Durban on the 4th before finishing up at the Coca-Cola Dome in Johannesburg on 6th December.
