I really enjoyed the tour, it was such an awesome experience cycling right through the thick of the Soweto community. I’ve lived in Joburg my whole life, visited Soweto a few times, but I’ve never really experienced it more that driving through it. It is a complete different experience on a bicycle. You don’t only get to interact with the locals, but you get to have a real sense of what it must feel like to live there – the smells, the atmosphere, the services, the people, and the diversity.
