Welcome to Malolotja Nature Reserve
Situated at the northwestern border of Eswatini, flanking South Africa, and spread over 18,000 hectares, the Malolotja Nature Reserve is a magnificent landscape of diverse habitats. From savannah plains and river valleys to low-lying bushveld and montane forests, it encompasses both Swaziland’s second-highest mountain peak and its highest waterfall. This pristine wilderness is known for its wide variety of flora and fauna, but most notably its kaleidoscopic bird life, with approximately 300 species recorded including the rare forest canary and ground woodpecker. Visitors can look forward to a host of wonderful activities including thrilling forest canopy tours, excursions along the famous Malolotja Falls, and impala, zebra, and eland.
