Still Bay

Situated on the southern Cape coast of South Africa, about four hours’ drive from Cape Town, Still Bay, also known as Stilbaai, is a tranquil seaside town known for its natural beauty and relaxed charm. Resting at the mouth of the Goukou River, the town is surrounded by pristine beaches, fynbos-covered hills, and a tidal estuary teeming with birdlife. Travellers come here for swimming, surfing, and kayaking, as well as fishing and boating along the river. Still Bay is also famous for its archaeological heritage, including Stone Age fish traps still visible at low tide.
