Tomburke

Situated near the border of Botswana in the heart of South Africa’s bushveld, Tomburke lies just north of Rietfontein Village in Limpopo. This tiny hamlet is home to a police station and a little corner shop. Visitors can explore the surrounding landscape which is famed for its many reserves, game farms and safari lodges including the nearby Kokomori Nature Reserve. The landscape is characterised by vast stretches of open grasslands or ‘veld’ as it is known in South Africa.
