Dundee

Situated on the edge of Zululand Dundee played a role in both the Anglo Zulu and Anglo Boer Wars and before the development of lodges and B&Bs on the battlefields this was where you set out from. Today the Talana Museum is worth a visit and General Penn-Symons who was one of three British generals killed in the war is buried in the Anglican Church yard.
