Welcome to Entre-Deux

Sandwiched between the two main tributaries that feed the magnificent Saint-Etienne River in western Reunion, Entre-Deux is the name of the village as well as the area or ‘commune’ as it is known in French. The charming Creole village of Entre-Deux has undergone a rebirth and has increased in popularity with visitors in the last few decades. It serves as a gateway to the famous Dimitile Mountain Range featuring the spectacular Grand Bassin, which is home to the 3000-hectare Le Dimitile Important Bird Area. Historically, this town and the surrounding area has flourished from its ancient coffee and sugar cane trade. Visitors can look forward to a variety of activities including: hiking through breathtaking landscapes, picnicking along magnificent rivers, and birdwatching in stunning countryside.
