Welcome to Gishwati Mukura National Park.
Located in the north-western part of Rwanda, Gishwati Mukura National Park is a densely forested and protected reserve that sits on the ridge which divides the Congo and Nile water catchment areas. The park is covered with close to 60 species of tree, including indigenous hardwoods and bamboo, and is home to chimpanzees, golden monkeys, L’Hoest’s and Blue Monkeys, and birdlife. The area also offers accommodation, cultural performances, handicrafts, beekeeping, and a tea plantation tour.
