Zannier Reserve

Wild and scenic, Zannier Reserve protects 7,500 hectares outside Windhoek, on the Khomas Hochland plateau, with mountain ranges forming a striking backdrop. The reserve provides a haven for lions, elephants, white rhinos, giraffes, leopards, caracals and herds of antelope. It forms part of the conservation work of the N/a’an ku sê Foundation, a Namibian organisation dedicated to wildlife rescue, rehabilitation and conservation. Animals rescued from human-wildlife conflict have been relocated here, including desert-adapted lions, elephants and white rhinos. Guided conservation drives, walks and specialist tracking excursions allow visitors to observe wildlife and learn about the reserve’s conservation work, while the varied terrain provides habitat for a diverse range of species.
