Welcome to Aussenkehr
Situated on the banks of the Orange River in the south of Namibia and right on the border of South Africa, Aussenkehr is a settlement and farm that was established in 1988. The area started out as a farm and later developed into a settlement that is home to roughly 18 000 seasonal workers. The climate is perfect for the production of table grapes, allowing for harvesting that is 3-5 weeks earlier than elsewhere. Some of the other crops include mangoes, dates, and citrus.
