Welcome to Tsaobis Nature Park
Set in the heart of Namibia, halfway between Windhoek and Swakopmund, Tsaobis Nature Park is a 16 000-hectare 'geological wonder' from which rare minerals like aquamarine, tourmaline and heliodor were unearthed. A surreal marble amphitheatre awaits visitors on a 4×4 trail at Python Valley right along the Tsaobis River. The reserve also functions as the headquarters for the Tsaobis Baboon Project. In this international research programme, scientists and students study the ecology of chacma baboons and the broader desert landscape. Conveniently, visitors can unwind after a day of exploring, hiking, and nature trail with a tranquil stay amidst picturesque scenery at the well-equipped individual campsites.
