Shangani

Set near the Shangani River, the small farming settlement of Shangani is situated between Gweru and Bulawayo in Matabeleland North, Zimbabwe. It serves as a great base from which to explore the surrounds. The highlight in the surrounding landscape is the Naletale Ruins, listed as a World Heritage site. These ancient historic ruins are made up of piles of granite rock creating a collection of rounded walls. This 17th-century archaeological gem draws visitors from near and far.
