Explorer Canoe Safaris - Zambezi Classic Long Safari

Natureways Safaris Zambezi Classic Long Safari covers the full stretch of the Lower Zambezi River, right from the Kariba Dam wall to Kanyemba town on the border of Mozambique. Spend 9 nights and 10 days exploring the might Zambezi River and all she has to offer, gorges, flood plains, birdlife, and wildlife.

This safari is semi participatory, meaning guests would be required to assist with camp chores such as putting up their tents and helping with the cooking. Small dome tents are used, with sleeping bags and mattresses, no ablution facilities are available as camping is done on the islands. Bathing is done using a bucket with water from the River, or your guide will find a safe sand bar for guests to wallow on.

Transfers to and from the safari to Kariba town are provided by Natureways Safaris. All meals, basic drinks (tea, coffee, cordials, water and wine with dinner), fully qualified canoe guide, camping and canoe equipment are all included as part of the safari experience.
