Mosi-Oa-Tunya National Park

Located along the Zambezi River in southern Zambia, Mosi-oa-Tunya National Park is a UNESCO World Heritage Site that includes the Zambian side of Victoria Falls, known locally as Mosi-oa-Tunya, meaning ‘The Smoke That Thunders’. The park offers impressive views of the falls, where the river plunges into a deep gorge, creating clouds of spray. Beyond this natural landmark, the park is home to a variety of wildlife, including elephants, buffaloes, hippos, crocodiles, giraffes, zebras and antelope. Visitors can enjoy game drives to spot animals across the park, while guided walks provide opportunities to explore the natural surroundings on foot. The Zambezi River also offers opportunities for boat cruises, with chances to observe wildlife along its banks.
