Ondini III

This was the site of King Cetswayo's Kraal after he returned from England and was granted the leadership of one of the thirteen chiefdoms of Zululand. It was attacked during the Zulu Civil War of 1883 and the King had to go into hiding in the British town of Eshowe where he died six months later.
