Kleinmond Beach

The small holiday town of Kleinmond is known for its beautiful sandy beach, which has consistently qualified for Blue Flag status over the years and offers great whale watching between June and November. Situated at the mouth of the Kleinmond Lagoon, it stretches for kilometres along the coast to the town of Hermanus and is a lovely place for a long, leisurely stroll. It is also a popular swimming and surfing beach, though tides and currents can be strong at times, and lifesavers are on duty during peak season months.
