Fransmanshoek Conservancy, located near Mossel Bay in the Western Cape, is South Africa’s oldest established conservancy, dedicated to protecting 18.5 km of coastline. Visitors can enjoy scenic drives, hiking trails, fishing, and picnicking at designated braai areas. Notably, the conservancy pioneered erosion control projects, introduced boardwalks, and established the Punt Huisie information centre.
