Kalahari-Oranje Museum

The Kalahari-Oranje Museum, located in the historic buildings constructed by Reverend Schröder in 1875, offers a glimpse into Upington's past and the Lower Orange River's history. The museum showcases household items from that era and features a life-sized bronze statue of a donkey, sculpted by Hennie Potgieter, symbolizing the vital role donkeys played in developing the region during pioneer times.
